Sally Rivers

Every day I wake up and feel thankful to have a job that I love, using my gifts to help others be the best they can.

I was born into a musical family and was always surrounded by music. Dad was a professional singer/voice master and mum was a costumier. I started singing professionally aged 7 and spent much of my teens on tour or in a studio…I performed in shows and worked as a session singer. Before I was even 24, I had performed at most of the major concert venues in the UK  and worked with Celine Dion, Holly Johnson, Sinitta, New Order, Robert Palmer and was regularly singing at the Prince’s Trust concerts.

I started coaching for labels aged just 18 and have been coaching ever since. An exciting chapter of my life was spent living and working in the West End, where I worked equally with actors, as well as singers. Between coaching and session singing, I chalked up an impressive CV – I worked with Russell Crowe, Johnny Depp, Jeff Goldblum, Ian McShane, Sir Derek Jacobi, Keanu Reeves, Cher, Lady Gaga, Gwen Stefani, Avril Levigne, Eminem to name a few.

I was born to be on stage and today, I perform in theatres with Meatloud, the UKs no1 tribute to Meatloaf, as well as Country Meets Rock, co-starring multi award winning country singer, Thorne Hill. Too much fun!

So on the weekend I rock out with the band and in the week I’m coaching online or from my purpose built studio, which is minutes from my home, and contains all the equipment needed for professional recordings, but is cosy enough to help clients feel at ease in assessments and technical lessons.

I am passionate about bringing out the best in everyone, whatever their level and their need. When you come to me for a session, I will be fully committed to helping you become the best version of your self – whether you are Lady Gaga or an enthusiastic “bathroom” singer! All you need is enthusiasm and a great coach!
